What is a potion? A potion is defined as a liquid that is to be drunk that is medicinal, magickal or poisonous. Well that is the generalized term. If you want to get into specifics a potion made by boiling water and steeping (letting the plant material sit in the boiling hot water) is called an infusion. If you take root material and boil (root and water boiled in same pan) it is called a decoction. An elixir is when you make a potion of alcohol, something sweet like honey and herbs. The honey makes it easier to take. A tincture is made by soaking herbs in 80 proof clear alcohol for two weeks then pressing the liquid out.

That would be entirely up to you. Most of the Witches I know have chosen the Penticle. You know the five pointed star in a circle. I chose the triple moon mainly because only other witches and pagans would recognize it. There is also a hollywood stigma that goes with the penticle and it is not good.
the forum; a rant
Tuesday, June 16th, 2009there is a forum attached to the courioshoppe.com along with this blog it is a page in my site my dream if you will. the theme of the entire site is new age, wiccan, wicca, witchcraft etc. there are people posting ads for viagra on my site. when they do this i promptly remove the add. i dont like getting spammed at all and i will do my best to make shure that the site continues to have a new age type theme. the main reason is because this site is my dream.
my dream is to make the occult simple for anybody to be a part of. and make accessing the occult eayser. i have a selection of books on the subject in the ebook section of the site and im working on, getting more ebooks to put on to the site.
as for the trappins of an occult supply store i am also working on getting some of that into play as well. i have found a place that sells oils at a good price, now i need to find bottles for them. next i have to get some shelveing, i have an old spare room that i could convert to a store room for my store.
